Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

Procedure Details
During surgery, additional corrections may be performed, such as reducing enlarged areolas, reshaping inverted or enlarged nipples, or adjusting breast size through reduction or augmentation if needed.
This procedure is performed under general anesthesia and typically lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is done on an outpatient basis, and most patients require around 5 days of recovery before resuming normal activities.
Recovery and Aftercare
Recovery time varies depending on the surgical technique used. It is recommended that patients arrange for someone to accompany them home after the procedure.
Most patients recover comfortably within 2 to 4 days, with the most intense discomfort occurring during the first 48 hours.
Pain and swelling gradually subside over the following 2 to 3 weeks. Patients must wear a surgical bra for the first several days, which is later replaced by a supportive sports bra or surgical bandage for a few more weeks.
Stitches are usually removed within 1 to 2 weeks after surgery.
